Q: How  long is our hire for?

A: A full weekend experience, offering exclusive access to the venue from Friday morning at 10:00am through to Sunday at 12:00 noon.

Q: How many can The Red Barn seat?

A: Designed for celebrations both intimate and grand, the venue hosts up to 130 seated wedding guests with no minimum requirement. Our Wedding Meadow allows for unrestricted guest numbers, offering true flexibility. Here is our seating plan drawn to scale to help with your organisation.

Q: Can we get married at The Red Barn?

A: Of course! We are an approved venue with Norfolk County Council Registrar service, and only hold one wedding each weekend, giving you exclusive use of the venue, and the opportunity to dress it as you have pictured the day before.

We do not charge an additional fee for holding your ceremony with us however there would be a cost incurred from the registrar.  Please follow the links for booking your registrar through the central booking system for Norfolk County Council, or for more information.

Q: Are we tied into any specific caterer or vendor?

A: No – you have free rein to chose who you would like to use for your event, we can offer advise on companies that have been to us before, but please be assured that we do not have ‘back-handers’ weighting this advice!

If you choose to book with us we can provide you with a booklet as a starting point of suppliers (everything from bars to entertainment).

Q: Do you have accommodation on site?

A: No – however there is plenty available in the surrounding villages – from B&B’s and holiday homes to boutique hotels, and of course the larger chains in Kings Lynn – just ask us and we can give you a comprehensive list of the local accommodation.

Q: Do you have a site available for Marquee Weddings?

A: Yes – we have a delightful The Wedding Meadow surrounded by woodland available for hire on which you can site a Marquee or tent of your choice for you wedding or event (including mid week availability) – please contact us for further information.

Q: Is The Red Barn animal friendly?

A: Yes, at The Red Barn we are delighted to welcome well-trained dogs and animals as part of your celebration, by prior arrangement and at no additional cost.

Q: Do you charge corkage fees?

A: Curate your celebration your way! Ther hirer may bring their own drinks, with no corkage fees.

Q: Are there any hidden costs?

A: The Red Barn hire includes full post-event cleaning, with waste, recycling, and glass/cardboard disposal provided at no additional cost.

Q: Can we have a ceremony outside?

A: Yes – although the british weather may have other ideas..!
